CRYPTIC CLUE (3) went around big odds and was well held last start, albeit finishing fourth, but that was in a 0-62 at Seymour won by a horse who will measure up at metro level. Poor the start prior but won in this grade three back and can win again from the good draw. SNATCHED (9) was unplaced at the picnics two back but ran a much-improved race to go under in a photo at Wagga last start and she looks ready for this trip now. JAPPALOUIS (1) is up from maiden grade but will have taken confidence from that. CABLE DE VEGA (12) is a regular in this grade and was only beaten half-a-length when second two back, so he has some recent runs on the board. CUMBRIAN QUEEN (6) has been mixing distances of late but gets back up to the distance range that she has posted two of her three wins, so she's in the mix.
