Nathan Hobson looks to hold a strong hand here with a couple who not only bring good form for a race like this, but will also put themselves on speed, which can be an advantage here. REWARD THE SHERIFF (3) contested some stronger races than this earlier in the prep and was only run down late last start in a race that didn't appear any tougher than this. He's drawn alongside stablemate THE WAYFARER (5) out wide, but they'll both go forward and whoever gets the better run might end up the winner. STIRRUP (10) made a nice return on the synthetic but generally runs his best races on the turf, so this looks more suitable even if he has failed to figure in three previous starts on this track specifically. BENTLEY BROOK (1) is also second-up and comes off a fourth placing here when not far behind The Wayfarer.
