The step up from 1200m to 1500m is the key, and he has the draw to go one better. HAPPY STORY (1) put in a big effort for third in his penultimate start, and then finished a head back in second-place 9 days ago over a mile at Timaru. This is the right race for him, and he is overdue to break through for his first win. INDIE ARDIE (6) hit some good form at the end of his last prep and will be even stronger this year. He can make the most of the pole position and is likely to be hitting the line late. Include in all combinations. YOO HOO JOY (7) caught the eye with a nice finish for third fresh up over 1200m, and will only improve further once she gets out over a middle distance. 1500m is the right trip second up, and she can take this out. LEVITATE (5) is worth including in all combos.
