MARHABA THE CHAMP produced his form only once last season but he offered something to work on off his reduced mark at Pontefract last month so this C&D winner could be worth chancing in first-time headgear. The Reverend remains of interest having not been seen to best effect since making a winning handicap debut at Ascot, while Stressfree has shaped well back on the Flat in recent months and this trip on this flat track could prove to be ideal.

Progressive son of Lope de Vega who was an impressive winner on his handicap debut at Ascot in September. Excuses when fancied in competitive handicaps here and at Doncaster since and could prove himself to be a smart performer this year.

Progressive son of Le Havre who got off the mark in handicap at Newcastle in February. Backed that up without being seen to anything like best effect when second at Wolverhampton and easy to forgive latest start (pulled too hard upped in trip). Remains unexposed.

Won competitive handicaps at both the Dante/Ebor meeting here in 2023. Had a disappointing time of it last season though offered something to work on off reduced mark at Pontefract on return. Not taken lightly with headgear applied.

Most consistent last season, winning at Chester in September. Opened his account over hurdles in February and ran well without being seen to best effect back on the Flat at Doncaster and Epsom. Of interest again.

Justified support at Southwell on debut in December and only just denied under a penalty at Kempton following month. Resumed winning ways with a useful effort on handicap bow there in March, just holding on from a subsequent winner, and has since left Charlie Fellowes. Remains with potential.

Back to his smart best on third start for this yard when third in Group 2 at Meydan in March, though that wasn't the deepest race for the grade. Probably needs to step up on that run off this mark but he's unexposed at this trip.
