Expensive purchase AYLIN makes plenty of appeal on pedigree and may be able to make a winning debut for her excellent yard. Fellow Lowther entry Bosa Nova may prove next best, having made a successful racecourse bow at Chepstow last month, while Secret Echo is another interesting newcomer to note for top connections.

£100,000 yearling, Churchill filly knew her job on debut when winning on debut under a front-running ride at Chepstow (6.1f) last month. That wasn't the strongest maiden bur she's clearly well thought of (entered in Lowther) and should be competitive under a penalty if she can improve on that run.

600,000 gns yearling, St Mark's Basilica filly. Half-sister to useful 5f winner Sturlasson and 2-y-o 5f winner Fuji Mountain. Dam 2-y-o 6f winner. Expensive purchase for yard who are excellent with juveniles. Entered in the Lowther here next month and appeals as a very interesting newcomer.

Showcasing filly was unable to justify support when showing plenty of inexperience on debut, finishing well held in a 14-runner maiden at Newbury (6f) 17 days ago. Wasn't given anything like a hard time that day and may well have more to offer second time up.
