TomorrowJuly 11, 2025FlatClass 45f

A fiercely-competitive sprint in which cases can be made for several. Preference is for AIR FORCE ONE, who has very few miles on the clock and may well be favourably treated starting out for Geoff Oldroyd on reappearance. Brazen Bolt is twice the age of the selection, but judged on recent efforts, Ruth Carr's charge could give him plenty to think about with a talented claimer booked. Copper Knight, Muker and Castan are just a trio of others to consider, also.

7-time C&D winner who is a grand servant to connections' and he arrives here in great nick, scoring at Pontefract last month before following up 5 days later at Chester (now 5 course wins there). Clearly retains plenty of enthusiasm despite his advancing years so warrants respect.

Has taken her form up a notch in recent weeks, landing 10-runner handicap at Yarmouth (5.2f) in May before following up in 15-runner handicap at this C&D (good to firm) 4 weeks ago, repeating front-running tactics. Another 6 lb rise to contend with but progressing rapidly all of a sudden.

Bagged a fourth win of 2025 in 9-runner handicap at Thirsk (5f, good to firm) in May and ran a fine race in defeat in a better contest than the ones he's won this year when a close third at Doncaster last month. Entitled to go close in his current mood.

C&D winner but it's been a while since he last got on the scoreboard and his latest effort here just under 6 weeks ago hardly signalled that was about to change. First-time visor applied but he remains opposable on balance.

Opened account at fifth time of asking when making all in 4-runner maiden at Brighton (5.3f, good) in September. Reappearance handicap debut near-miss at Doncaster (5f, good) 3 weeks ago was no backward step and he's not out of this having bounced back at Epsom just under 5 weeks ago.

As good as ever when winning at Beverley in May and confirmed he's in top form with a ¾-length second of 7 to Protest Rally in handicap at Pontefract later that month. Clearly not 100% when tailed-off last back at latter track last month so fancied to bounce back.

Made a winning return/yard debut for P. Twomey at Navan last May. Failed to really kick on from that and now returns from 10 months off for another new yard (has been gelded). Mark looks workable judged on penultimate second at Bellewstown and the tongue tie discarded. Worth chancing.

Useful handicapper at best but seemingly not the force of old and failed to build on the promise of last run when last of 7 in handicap at Wolverhampton (5.1f) on final outing in December. Others more persuasive on this return to turf after 6 months off.

Promising enough start for this yard (gelded and had wind op) when fifth at Wolverhampton (5.1f) on return in March but well below that level the following month at Southwell. Unproven on turf so he looks an easy swerve (has had another wind op).
