MECENE impressed with his hurdling when getting off the mark at Taunton in the spring and can make a winning return at the chief expense of Trigg who wasn't at his best when an odds-on third at Perth when last seen out but still rates a big threat for the all-conquering Skelton yard. Hurdling debutant Danza Kuduro appeals as the pick of the rest for the minor honours.

VerdictBumper winner who made an impressive winning start over hurdles in 2m maiden at Uttoxeter in May. Failed to build on it when an odds-on third of 7 in novice hurdle at Perth (2½m, good to soft) following month. Remains with potential after a break though for top yard. - 2.
