XENTARO (1) is building a handy profile, winning against the older horses in a BM66+ last start as the race favourite. Back to an Open 3YO here and the claim of Riordan comes in handy. Will need some luck from the barrier, but he might just be too classy for these. JUST WALTER JOHN (4) looks in good order judging by his recent trial and showed glimpses of talent through his last campaign. Can take up the running from a favourable alley and a positive return is on the cards. ZOURUN RUN (3) was too good here last week when winning by 1L at this track and trip. Tougher here, but she's a filly on the way up and wasn't disgraced in Listed company last campaign. Wouldn't surprise to see her go on with the job. DESERT ORA (7) takes the step up in grade today after back-to-back wins at Albany. Should get every chance from the inside barrier though and won't be far away. DEEP LYRIC (6) impressed in his only 400m trial with Pike on board and he sticks today. Creates plenty of interest.
