Verdict

TOO DARN STORMY (2) was sound on resumption, ending up in the second half of the field and closing nicely to be 3.1L off the winner. Fiore remains on board and he usually improves with racing. Hasn't won for a while, but he hasn't done much racing either. Can get the job done now. ETERNAL WINE (4) couldn't run down Dawn Dancer last start when closing nicely from the back in good splits. Chris Parnham rides now and she makes plenty of appeal coming back to this level. She can go one better in a suitable race based on her recent efforts. KINGS HONOUR (1) bounced back to winning ways last time out, sitting handy and scoring by 1.2L. This shapes similarly and Nottle's claim is a bonus. Can roll forward and be in this for a very long way. WHO'S BENT (3) was solid on resumption and should be better for that effort. Worth plenty of thought. DIAMOND DANCER (7) trialled well recently and she can feature first-up.
