SANCTUARY (12) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on March 7 and finished sixth behind Medicinal over 1000m in the G3 Ottawa Stakes at Flemington. Started $8.50 there off some impressive trials, so she's obviously shown a bit and needs to be given another chance. VERISMO (8) has not raced since his debut on May 30 over 1150m at Illawarra Grange when he finished fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths. That was also a handy race, he's been gelded since and two recent trials suggest it has improved him. MISS VERONA (10) resumes from a spell after finishing fifth over 1200m at Wagga on May 1. In good hands and has been trialling like an improved showing is on the cards. LONNEGAN (7) is the lone debutant, and takes on some smart types, but hinted there is something there in the latest trial, when he hit the line stylishly. I'M INTRIGUED (2) didn't have the best of luck in a hot race last start, but only went down narrowly the run prior, so deserves another chance.
