Looks the perfect race for ROEBUCK PLANE (12). Went forward last start over 1425m at Geelong and held on well for third, beaten 1.75 lengths. Beautifully placed, blinkers going on seems a signal of intent, as does Linda Meech being employed for the ride. ADAKITE (9) also gets blinkers for the first time. Finished second first-up at Mornington then couldn't repeat the dose last time when fifth at this track over 1300m when beaten 2.5 lengths. Key runner who can get off the mark. BOW AND AMMO (2) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at Warrnambool. Has ability and must be respected. QUYNH (11) went forward last time but couldn't quicken in the run home and finished fourth over 1400m at Cranbourne. Worth including in this suitable contest. PANDIE PANDIE (13) was a drifter on debut - $14 out to $21 - and was never a factor but it was in a stronger race than this. Better for it and suited up to this trip, so give another chance.
