That was his first run since switching from Waller to Maryann Brosnan. Likely improver out to this more suitable journey. DANCING TILDA (3) backs up five days after a decent fourth in heavy going over 1400m at Taree. Filled a placing three back at his only try over today's distance. Going well enough to trouble this line-up. BEST EAGLE (1) led for the judge but couldn't keep going at his latest appearance over the mile at Rockhampton. Lightly raced gelding well served by coming back a touch in distance. PLAY IT COOL (5) has been in the money at two of three runs at Coffs, both on heavy tracks. Must be considered under today's conditions. COOK MY GOOSE (7) can improve second-up over a bit more ground.
