He had already won a Class 2 at Gold Coast over 1000m, despite jumping awkwardly, and his record at around 1200m is strong with two wins from three tries. Quick back-up aside, he looks the one to beat.

Dominant when winning a Class 2 at Toowoomba last start, beating Cause She Can by just over three lengths as an odds-on favourite on soft ground. His previous Doomben fifth in a BM65 was also sound, beaten just over a length after leading and working home evenly. Wide draw is the hurdle, but the profile is strong.

Resumed with a second-last finish in a CG Class 6 at this track, yet was beaten just over two lengths on heavy ground and was close enough at the turn. He was narrowly beaten at Doomben before the break, pipped by Vivika after leading. Fitter now and suited back to 1200m.

Returns from a four-month break after finishing 12th in the Listed Ramornie Handicap at Grafton, beaten four and a half lengths when close enough but unable to quicken. She had won a BM65 at Ipswich start prior, beating Grand Crusader on soft ground as favourite. Strong 1200m record keeps her in the place mix.

Produced a sharp turnaround to win a Class 4 at Toowoomba on heavy ground last start, coming from rearward to beat Astapor by a length and a half. That followed a plain last at Sunshine Coast where he raced wide and failed to come into it. Harder here, but that finish gives him a realistic place profile.

Placed third at Toowoomba last start, beaten three lengths in a small field after travelling well and working home evenly. The run prior was plain when unwanted in betting and unable to make ground after being fractious at the start.

Resumes off a six-week freshening after finishing last at Toowoomba, where he led but failed to quicken and was eased near the 200m. Proven at 1200m, but recent efforts leave him with plenty to find.

His Warwick third before that was more encouraging, keeping on after also covering ground and finishing just over two lengths from Angara. Warwick third prior keeps him in the place discussion.

Worked home sixth in an Open at Stanthorpe last start, beaten two and a half lengths, but that picnic form now has to stand up in harder company. The run prior at Toowoomba was only fair when fourth behind Thundering Soul after racing keenly. Current campaign form has not been sharp enough.
