Verdict

Great little late season 2yo race and all eyes will be on the resuming HARD KICK (1) who looked exceptional leading and winning here on debut in the Talindert Stakes, running out a soft 2.75 length winner over Zambales who went on to be very competitive in Group Ones in Sydney. He was tipped out rather than back up in the Blue Diamond for which he was close to favourite for and has trialled up very well. Does have to give away weight but looks a very nice talent. PANCHENKO (9) is the clear danger off a dominant 5.5 length win on debut at Bendigo. The time was good without being over the top but she clearly goes well and gets in with 53.5kg with Willo on. Big watch on RIVERINA LULU (7), a Blue Point filly for the Grahame Begg yard. She's been jumping out very stylishly and looks ready to run a big race. LEOPARD SHARK (2) did some nice things last campaign and will be strong late. DARK MATTER (5) is a colt by Cosmic Force for the Bjorn Baker yard who has trialled well in Sydney.
