NUNYA (4) brings the most reliable recent profile, with consecutive seconds this campaign and a last-start Murray Bridge placing where he was beaten just under two lengths after starting near the top of betting. He also had Ateyate behind him there, and his overall record of three placings from four starts reads well. Gets his chance. ATEYATE (1) is the main danger, backing up from that same Murray Bridge race after finishing third and he is race-fit enough to press the favourite if the 1706m holds no concern. MIZZEN JIB (3) lifted sharply when second at this track over 1500m after being unwanted in the market, though this is a new distance range and his Mildura run two back was plain. Can feature on best. IN PRIVATE (7) has been beaten just over eight lengths at both runs this campaign, but there was some late work at Murray Bridge after early tightening and she is capable of improving into a placing.
