FLYING BETTY (5) got well back over 1400m at Wagga last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 16 lengths away in twelfth. This is a nice drop in grade and is perfectly placed to score. PIPPIE POMAR (8) started at $2.45 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth over 1300m at Toowoomba. Well placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SOME COMFORT (9) stepped out on her debut over 1000m at Wangaratta three weeks ago and finished eighth. Should be thereabouts from the good gate. BACKFLIPS (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when tenth over 900m at Corowa. Suitably placed and can turn things around.
