MILOS FILOS (3) settled towards the tail then wound up strongly to finish 4 lengths away in third when resuming last start over 1000m at Pakenham Synthetic in a good little BM70. Much better suited to 1200m now and will take holding out. GINA'S A STAR (7) is racing very well over shorter trips, her past two at 1000m. Little niggle to 1200m given she's only placed in 1/4 but she's flying. MISS MAHJONG (4) fought on well for second last start over 1250m at Morphettville Parks, making it two minor placings in a row. This suits nicely and she'll be thereabouts. MONIX (1) improved sharply last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 975m at Swan Hill three-and-a-half weeks ago. He's some query at 1200m too but is going well. RAZZO ROSSO (2) is coming off a win at Mildura and can measure up.
