Well-placed and will take catching. WAVE DANCER (9) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1280m at Canberra Acton. Placed in a recent trial. Nicely placed and expected to go well. ELEGANT VENUS (4) is in fine form, filling a minor placing again last start over 1100m at this track to make it five top-three finishes on the trot. Drawn out but should be in the finish again. HOPE TO HEAVEN (5) is on debut. By I Am Invincible and is out of the Lachie Manzelmann stable. A good gate is sure to assist. Pay to watch for any positive betting moves.
