Verdict

After just about giving up on him, DEEPFLOAT DIVA (2) was back to his best last start when just missing in a strong Open contest. Loves this track and trip and if he holds his form he's clearly the one to beat. VEXATIOUS DANCER (7) was terrific first-up behind the red-hot Real Deluxe, only missing by a neck. If he's come on from that he can give this a big shake. LIGHT THE NIGHT (8) is still relatively lightly raced and has formlines that stack up nicely. Fitted with a jumpout here in readiness and keeps Holder. Bit to like. LA ROUX (11) wasn't quite at her best fresh but should come on from that and is drawn cosy on the inside. Win won't shock. BOOTLEGGER (1) returns short of a preferred trip but is a consistent gelding that has to be included to fill a minor spot.
