Verdict

NARALINGA (5) didn't fire a shot in town last Saturday but was a brave winner two back at Mt Gambier. Has been mixing his form throughout this prep but his best is good enough to take this out. HALLIWELL (3) hasn't won for a long time but is threatening to do so. Is another on the short turnaround and while he'll likely get a long way back from his draw, if the pace is strong he could reel them in late. HOWL (4) is another get-back-and-launch home operator. Has been tackling tougher opposition than this, so should appreciate the easier company. If Murtagh can utilise a middle draw he can give this a big shake. SATAY CHICKEN (1) made a winning start in the new colours when getting the bob at Quorn. Tougher now but deserves respect. HEDONIST (2) is a big watch first-up for the new stable.
