Completed a second double of his career in the Carlisle Bell in June. Has found things tougher since, however, including when dropped into this company at Musselburgh last time. Cheekpieces are left off and has work to do at the weights.

Course winner who ended time with Stuart Williams with a 1m Bath win. Creditable third at Ayr on first outing for current yard but has followed with lesser efforts since. Returns after a small break with the cheekpieces left off.

Dual winner on all-weather last year for Karl Burke and has turned in some respectable efforts in defeat since joining this yard. Found the Cambridgeshire at Newmarket too competitive last time but now drops markedly in grade and is the one to beat at the weights.

Fairly useful gelding who gradually found his feet for this yard over the summer. Finished 2 places ahead of Priapos when third of 6 in seller at Musselburgh (9f, good, 5/1) 16 days ago. Looks the main danger to the selection.

Failed to go on after making winning return at Newmarket last season for Hugo Palmer. Off 10 months before returning in July and has a bit to prove on all-weather debut judged on his 3 showings this year.
