Relished conditions when successful in a Stratford chase (19f, good to firm) in June. Creditable third back hurdling at Market Rasen (21f) prior to running a stinker over fences on final start for Shark Hanlon. Can be competitive from lower hurdle mark, if back on song for capable new yard.

Recorded back-to-back wins at Stratford/Warwick before placing off much higher marks last summer. Now well handicapped following a quiet spring and may revive on the back of a breathing operation for new yard (£8,000 buy for Dan Skelton, who's previously done well with ex-David Dennis horses).

C&D winner who was successful at Exeter (19f, good) in October on first run back with Alan Jones. Has looked badly out of sorts since, latterly at Uttoxeter (18/1) in early-June. Only considered if market hints at a revival.

Versatile performer in Ireland for Kevin Michael Smith. Form has been patchy since joining current yard. Extended long losing run when doing too much too soon in a first-time visor behind Mi Sueno over C&D last time.

Seemingly hasn't been the easiest to train since going close here in autumn 2024. Now reverted to hurdles (3 lb below his winning mark) after a disappointing summer over fences.

Went the right way in bumpers. Has done plenty wrong as a hurdler. Again jumped awkwardly when well held final start for Robert Stephens in early-July. Handily treated on bumper form if new yard can get his jumping together, though, with the booking of Sean Bowen catching the eye.

Failed to build on the promise of his previous run when well-held fifth over C&D last month. Subsequent breathing operation suggests a physical issue may have contributed to that laboured performance. Could be worth another chance off an attractive mark.

Enjoying rare bout of consistency at present. Gained a breakthrough success over C&D in July, and he was arguably a little better than the beaten distance when 5 lengths off Mi Sueno here last time.

Went close to breaking his duck over C&D in late-June. Underlined his inconsistency when well-beaten seventh of 8 behind Mi Sueno last time, and he's now tried in more severe headgear.

Modest middle-distance winner on Flat. Ran better than on handicap debut when 5¾ lengths third behind Saucats over C&D last month. Again ran creditably but finished no nearer to that rival when filling the same position here subsequently.

Headgear refitted when taking advantage of a career-low mark over C&D last time, seeing off 3 of today's rivals on first start for useful yard. A 5 lb rise doesn't look insurmountable on the best of his old form.
