DE LAGO'S ROCK (8) is the one to beat after missing by only half a length when third at Kalgoorlie first-up, with that run carrying extra merit given he covered ground and still kept finding. He looks well suited out to 1600m now and with improvement likely, he shapes as the one to beat. RUTHLESS BLOOM (6) is the proven local form runner, beaten a nose at this track last start after another solid placing the run prior, and her repeated 1600m efforts make her the most reliable danger. THANGOO (2) has been below market expectations at his last two, yet he stays in the mix with Chris Parnham going on and enough early maiden form to give him a winning hope if he finishes off better. ADMIRE BELLE (9) turned in a better performance last time out and is not to be discounted on the back of that performance. COSTA DEL DARLO (1) has claims off a solid last start effort.
