Just over a month between runs when he loomed strongly to go under narrowly in a tight finish when second to Nobler over 2000m at this track. Can race a touch closer from the better gate with the key jockey change. PINHOLE (4) imported Frankel gelding who justified the favouritism fourth-up with a tough win over 2400m at Randwick Kensington. Drops in weight and can go on with it now. CASUAL CONNECTION (8) jumps in grade over his pet trip and won't know himself with the 52.5kg. Deep into the prep and looks great each way value. SO SUAVE (14) good staying prospect heading in the right direction. Strong through the line when second over this trip at Randwick Kensington. Heavily supported in early betting and no shock to see him take this out. SOUNDS UNUSUAL (5) bred to get the trip and can take a hand in the finish fifth-up.
