Worked home one-paced to get up for second last start over this course and distance. Only goes up 1kg in this weaker contest. Should be beating these. GOLDEN CENTURY (4) has won just twice in 28 appearances. Finished a distant fourth in the same race as Kenmare Bay last time out here at this trip. Dour type who will keep whacking away. COUNTY KILKENNY (6) raced handy but lacked a turn of foot when midfield over 1900m at Canterbury recently. Yet to race beyond 2200m in 42 race starts. One for the exotics. SPENZALOT (3) scored over 2300m at Newcastle last time and has form around Appeared two back which ties in favourably with Kenmare Bay. Should be somewhere in the frame. HUTCHENCE (1) did zip first-up but has won two from four at 2400m so don't write him off.
