YES HE REIGNS (1) is a new arrival in the Beer/Carpenter stable. Raced just once when trained by Gai and Adrian and was only beaten two lengths over 1600m at Wyong back in April. Won a recent Hawkesbury trial in good style. Big chance to open his account. SETTA ICON (3) drove hard late but missed by a neck when resuming over 1000m at Canberra last start. Has had plenty of chances but looks to be back in great shape and he has a couple of placings to his name over 1200m at this circuit. FARSAIN (5) is back after a six-month break. Finished second here over 1000m to kick off last prep. Draws the fence and should be prominent for a long way. HIKARI RISING (2) is a Zoustar three-year-old on debut for Kerry Parker. Recent trial winner who must be respected. NORTH STAR MISS (7) can improve third-up and dropping back from provincial level.
