DANNY'S FRIEND resumed winning ways in impressive fashion at Newton Abbot in June and, with the extra distance potentially triggering further improvement, a 7 lb higher mark may not be enough to prevent the follow up. Jack Doyen was still going with zest when unseating his rider here recently and remains one to bear in mind now he's seemingly a reformed character, while the strong-travelling Huckleberry Sting is also respected as a last-time-out scorer.
