ROYAL GLADIATOR (12) has a tough profile to knock after two narrow defeats, most recently beaten a neck here. Some gear changes give him a lever to turn those placings into a win. CORRUPTED (7) hasn't been winning but drops back from Saturday company and her recent margins are better than the form figures suggest. PREVAILED (2) hasn't won for a long time but shoulders peaks that are right up to this, and McColm's claim is a big help. Can make a bright start in the new colours. MISS FUNNY HONEY (13) ran a 2.5-length fourth as favourite at Rockhampton last start. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race if she can improve on that run.
