Ran on late with the 59kg for a plugging fourth over 1280m at Canberra Acton. Meets some stronger types this time but a better run will not surprise. TALUK (11) returned solid closing figures with a gritty third from a wide barrier over 1200m at this track. Suitably placed from an inside gate and has solid each way prospects. A BOOK OF DAYS (1) tough gelding due for a change of luck. Shouldered the 60.5kg with a tenacious on-pace fourth over 1400m at Nowra on a heavy (8) surface. Will be there at the business end again with the claim.
