BENEFACTOR (2) has been racing well all winter, and finished a game runner-up at Hastings last week on a heavy track. The quick turnaround won't be an issue for this tough mare, and the extra 440m should not be a bother. On top. WHAT A CHARMA (3) made up a nice slice of ground from well back when finishing second at New Plymouth behind a leader that stole a march before the home turn that day. He is at his peak fitness now, and ready to go one better. BELARDO BOY (1) can be suspect over this trip, but he meets the right sort of field, and has been racing lately as though he is looking for this trip. Stick with him. PICK OF THE LITTER (6) fought on gamely for third at Hawera last time out, and she may try and take up the front in this field. Each way value again. SUBTLE IMAGE (5) has been in terrific form on the poly tracks, and he is a lot more genuine now that he is a 7YO gelding. He is down in weight, and is expected to measure up again.
