Siding with KING WEST (2) who gave a good sight at Pakenham Synthetic last start in a BM66, holding on to run second having won easily prior at Moe. He'll roll forward here to sit on pace and looks nicely placed to return to winning ways in what looks a very gettable affair. HELLUVA BARTY (3) is going okay without winning, mixing form between turf and synthetic. Up to 1200m can suit better now. PORT LOUIS (1) grabbed another win last time at Mt Gambier and is actually racing quite well. He should get a nice run and be thereabouts. ICY POLE (9) resumes having won first up last campaign at Stawell, this looks an ideal option and she'll get a nice run.
