ASPICIO (6) had support but didn't handle the heavy track on debut in February. Back with a solid 3rd at the Foxton trials last month. Stablemate and subsequent winner Palladium was 2nd in that trial. DASHING (16) made ground from the rear at Wanganui last start in January. Sound trial 2nd. Danger here but is also engaged at Otaki on Saturday. AIM TO MISS (13) backed up her Foxton trial win when she ran on strongly here last start over 1200m. Extra trip shouldn't bother. FLEURS STAR (4) kept coming gamely for 4th over this trip at Trentham before finding the mile a bit tough last time. Better suited here. ELEGANT ELLE (3) placed in just 2 of 19 starts but one of those came here 3 starts back when she kept coming from midfield. Has claims here.
