KICK ON (5) remained unbeaten over hurdles as the favourite when scoring by half a length at Riccarton nearly a month ago, and he is expected to made further progress this season while the tracks are wet. On top again. NEVER LOOK BACK (3) was a beaten favourite the last time he raced over jumps in a steeplechase here in July, and since then he has had a conditioning outing on the flat. He has won twice over hurdles, and is expected to bounce back into the money here. QUID (1) put together a couple of strong efforts in this role at Riccarton during their GN Carnival last month, and he has never missed a cheque in this role in 9-starts. Stick with him. THE BAMBINO (2) may have found 4200m at Riccarton too far last time out, and is record here is very strong. He benefits from a 2kg claim, and is well worth including in all top 3 combos. THE BELVOIR (4) has really improved this year with his jumping and his win here last time out was very good. Keep him safe.
