Verdict

I'M NIPOTE (3) has just missed his past couple, racing in tougher company last start at this track and trip where he was only 1L away. This shapes similarly, though he does come back to an easier race and his recent performances rate highly. Can go one better now. SANDFIRE ROSE (4) dropped back to 1400m last start and landed the knockout blow, winning by 0.4L at Kalgoorlie. Back out to the mile is a big tick now after she won impressively two back. Drawn to find the front again and can make every post a winner once more to bring up the hat-trick. BOUSSAC (5) scratched from a race on Wednesday to run here following a solid performance when closing strongly at Belmont last time out. Form out of his last start has worked out nicely and he won't be far away once again. MY JIMMY (1) is some quiery at the mile but he rounded them up impressively to win last start over 1400m. Has to be included with a better draw this time. RAZMAS (6) can fire a shot.

Has been knocking hard, finishing second in a 1 Metro Win at this track last week when beaten a length by Streamlined after working home strongly at generous odds. Two back he was second in an Open at Belmont behind I Love Ya Money, with early keenness and interference near the 200m adding merit. On the quick turnaround and looks primed to go one better now.

Arrives in winning form after sweeping home from well back to score by a nose over 1400m at this track on soft ground, despite being unwanted in the market. His previous Northam third in a Class 5 behind Decoration was also sound, and Joey Azzopardi keeps a strong record with him. The mile is a query, though he draws the inside and rates highly on his latest effort.

Comes off back-to-back wins, most recently holding off Radiant Light by a long neck at Kalgoorlie on good ground. This is stronger company than that provincial assignment, but the prior Bunbury Class 3 win by a length and a half was decisive and Chanel Cooper has three wins from four rides on her. Back out to this trip is no issue and she'll be tough to run down from the front.

Returns from a one-month freshening after a close Belmont Park third, beaten just under a length by Grandad's Adiction after beginning awkwardly and covering ground. That came in mid-week company and this is a harder meeting, but his previous Class 3 fifth had clear-running excuses and he now gets weight relief. Scratched from a race on Wednesday to run here and that's a good push for his chances.
