Verdict

Keen to stick with impressive first up winner LOUD CHARLIE (3) who got back and rattled home under 61.5kg at Caulfield Heath to score impressively over 1200m which was always going to be on the sharper side. He's had a quiet trial since and the step up in trip can see him settle closer from the inside gate. PORTER (1) comes back in class for this hence the hefty impost. The fresh run just missing Home Rule over this route in a BM84 is strong form. STEALTH OF NIGHT (5) comes through a very strong BM78 at Randwick last time behind Night Agent and Unleeshing which has worked out well. She draws well and should take catching. BOLTSAVER (6) would prefer a bit of rain and is off a let up but has claims on best.
