YAUSON (13) is a progressive gelding who bumped into a good one fresh before winning his past two, dominant at Seymour then really rallying late to beat a handy one in Crocodile last time with a big gap back to third. He looked like he'd relish more ground off that victory which he gets here, go close again. EMPEROR TZU (1) provides good resistance having won his past three. Too strong here last time over 1800m and up in trip will be no issue. JOHNICH (12) won nicely fresh at Geelong then got home well at Mornington behind Ziryab who is a leading chance in the Coongy next race. Look for him late. FREEDOM FLAME (8) comes over from SA off a solid win at Murray Bridge, she's a handy mare who can improve again up in trip. BEST TIME (10) next best.
