Verdict
Open race. Looking for the one with upside and BARRACKS (9) fits that bill nicely. He'd shown ability as a 2yo then resumed at Rosehill and won well beating the short priced favourite Affari who bolted in on Wednesday. No doubt this is a lot tougher but he gets a lovely run and should strip fitter. DOUBT TIME (6) and OVER EXCITED (12) come through clearly the best form behind The Next Episode in the G2 Danehill at Flemington. Doubt Time was first up and beat Over Excited home, albeit the filly was much shorter and boasts a good 2nd to Satono Glow prior. Both right in this. TALES OF TIME (5) was poor as favourite here last start behind THREADS (3) who led all of the way. Not sure what to make of Tales Of Time but have to respect the support, Threads is a bombproof sort of colt who will give a sight again.
