HEDJET (9) was an impressive winner last time over 1447m at Geelong, leading throughout and putting 3 lengths on his rivals. Won like a horse who is more than capable of being a force at this level. CROCODILE (6) has been about the money at each run this prep, the latest offering a second over 1600m at Ballarat. Should be ready to show his best now so he will be tough to beat. MISS CASTELVECCHIO (4) has already won a couple of races this time and performed well in better races than this, so she warrants major respect from the good draw. KASTUN STAR (3) has been in sparkling form, scoring two wins on end only to miss the frame last time over 1600m at Bendigo. Back to the scene of his victory two runs back. Has a win and three minor placings at this journey from five starts and is expected to run well. VENETIAN CHOICE (10) really bounced off the first-up run to win nicely last start and can go on with it up in trip here.
