MOUNT SABYINYO (1) earns top billing after consecutive seconds, most recently at Sale where he was the well-supported favourite and was beaten half a length after looming to win. He carries the top weight, but his overall record is reliable, he has placed both wet-track runs and he has already won and placed from two starts at this track. SURPERB FROST (6) resumes second-up off a narrow Mornington win as favourite, and while he rises from BM56 to BM66 grade, the weight relief and his two wins at around 1600m keep him firmly in the race. HEDJET (8) is the progressive danger, coming back from a BM70 at Sale where he was beaten a length and a half on heavy ground after winning his Mdn by three lengths at Geelong. SINISTER SAUCE (9) comes off a Kilmore FM BM56 win, gets meaningful weight relief and has an excellent jockey-horse record, although her five unplaced runs at this venue temper the winning case.
