SQUEEZEBOX (2) doesn't win all that often but is a model of consistency. Worked home well but was no match for the winner last start over this distance at Hawkesbury. Yet to miss the placings in three runs here at the mile. Sure to be right there at the business end again. VIEWPOINT (1) started at massive odds and did a good job to battle on for fourth over 1300m at Rosehill last time out. Big class drop today and won't mind getting out to this trip. Looms as a genuine threat. KIRKUK (7) was very good two back when a fast-finishing second over 1500m at Hawkesbury. Less effective in town last time but can play a big role back at the provincials. JUST SHANE (6) has been in the money at his last three, the latest over 2000m at Kembla. Back in trip with blinkers reapplied looks a nice set-up. DARN CUTE (4) resumes. Tough task but can sneak into the money without surprising.
