OCTOBER STAR (4) improved sharply last start at the second run back from a spell, making late inroads to get up for second over this distance at Wyong. Ready to hit peak fitness now and the addition of blinkers for the first time might provide that little extra edge required. JOHNNY (1) is an honest sprinter back from a three-month spell. Placed at three of four runs over today's journey. Trialled well recently so he looks up for this. STABILITY (3) came from last on the corner to record a comfortable maiden win recently over this distance at Wyong. Going well deep into the maiden campaign and this step up in grade is not beyond him. COBRA CLUB (2) resumes for Gai and Adrian. Goes fast and while fresh can give a bit of cheek. DE JOKER (6) produced an eye-catcher over 1100m at Dubbo last Monday. Must be respected on the quick back-up.
