She did not finish off as strongly as expected after bumping near the 150m, so there is some room to mark that run up. The new 1600m trip asks a question, but she has clear upside.

Had excuses at Wyong last start when tightened shortly after the start and bumped before finishing tenth, beaten eight lengths, so that result is not the whole story. Her previous Newcastle third behind Perini Miss was much more relevant, where she travelled well and worked home evenly. Newcastle placing two back and Jason Collett going on make her a strong contender.

Resumed with a sound third at Tamworth over 1400m, sitting just behind the leaders and fighting on when beaten just under four lengths by Crime Of Passion. She had been a well-supported favourite when a close fifth at Wyong in April, with lameness noted there. The top weight is the query, but she profiles as a genuine place hope.

That came in country company and she now steps into a harder provincial maiden, while 1600m is new ground. Blinkers go on and the 1600m task keeps her more a place hope.

Went close at Taree last start, sitting just behind the leaders and finishing second to Rupertano, beaten just over half a length on soft ground. That followed a solid Dubbo sixth as favourite, where he blundered at the start yet was only beaten two and a half lengths. Clear top pick who looks great value.

Worked into third at Muswellbrook last start, beaten just over five lengths after giving away ground from the back, but that was in country company and this is a harder assignment. Two back she was last in a Class 1 at Newcastle after racing wide without cover, so that run can be treated with some caution. Needs to find a few lengths.

Had a genuine excuse at Hawkesbury last start, held up in the straight before finishing fourth and beaten five lengths behind El Pablo. The concern is what came before it, as she was well beaten at Newcastle and has already been beaten by Golden Princess in this campaign. Gets a better set up and can sneak into the minor money.

Returns from a five-week freshening after a fair fifth at Tamworth, beaten just under four lengths by Grafology after racing keenly and failing to quicken. He was also safely held there the run prior, though he did make late ground from the rear. Looks better suited as a place chance than a winner.

Has been safely held at Hawkesbury at her past two, finishing ninth last start when beaten just over seven lengths at big odds after settling well back. She had also been seventh there at long odds after beginning slowly and making no late impression. Others bring stronger claims.

Returns from a five-week freshening after a plain last at Illawarra Grange, beaten over 12 lengths at long odds after settling back and weakening, with a lost plate noted. The run prior at Hawkesbury was also well below the mark when second last and beaten over 13 lengths. Not going well enough to trouble some of these.
