Ran out of his skin when he controlled the fast tempo to secure a close-up fourth over 1250m at Randwick Kensington last Wednesday. The kilo claimer hops aboard and is sure to run well. MONTE MAXIMUS (9) going better than his last start run suggests. Went under narrowly two back at Goulburn with the 60kg, then failed to get into the contest when eighth over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Ready for this trip and has genuine each-way prospects. STALLONE (1) comes here deep into the prep and will find this more to his liking from the low draw. On the quick backup with a fighting on speed fourth over 1400m at Rosehill in BM72 class. No shock to see him take this out with the 61kg. ROYAL CORPORAL (2) has yet to win past 1200m and he looks to get a much better run today. Snagged back from the wide gate when eleventh in a 1200m contest at Rosehill in BM72 grade. Can take a hand in the finish.
