BLUE EYED BRIGID (3) failed to come up in three runs last campaign and like the way he ran through the line first up with an encouraging third over 1400m at Kembla Grange in the small field. Zac Lloyd takes the reins and should appreciate the fast tempo. THE WARRIOR (5) was a month between runs with a fading seventh over 1300m at Scone. Jumps in grade and trip and worth noting his lone victory came at this distance. RIBBLE LACE (2) visors come off for this after he struggled with the 58kg for a below-par fifth over 1600m at this track. Gets weight relief with Chambers' claim and did place here two back over this trip. Capable of better. PRINCE DE VEGA (4) turned in an eye-catching run when back in trip for a plugging third over 1250m at Newcastle. Win record hardly excites and can figure in the minor money.
