VALLEY KING (3) remained unbeaten on this course when winning easily here on the first day, and in doing so he made sure the bookmakers had a bad day such was the tsunami of money that came for him. He stays in the same grade, and should repeat the dose. BAK DE ACE (4) chased home the top pick in vain last time out, and cops a nasty draw this time. He is better off at the weights this time, but will still need to improve further to turn the tables. ROCA MILE (2) has held his form on the turf and poly tracks this year, and dropping back from 2200m to 1800m won't bother him. Top 4 claims again. ON SHAW (6) was running on late when finishing fourth against most of these last week, and the extra 200m is ideal for this lightly tried 6YO. Stick with him. PRETTY FLY (8) raced a lot handier to the pace at Wingatui nearly 6 weeks ago and lifted strongly to score by a neck. The blinkers have obviously helped him, and despite the gap between runs, he is still worth including in all combos.
