SAVISANTA (2) ran fifth in the SA Derby last May and ready to peak fifth up. Sat on the speed and faded late with a plugging third over 2400m at Caulfield in BM84 grade. Blinkers come off and can score a long overdue victory. MEDATSU (1) plagued by wide gates at his last two runs and finds a much weaker contest on the quick backup. Snagged back and never got into the contest with a dismal eleventh in the LR Sydney Gold Cup over 2000m at Randwick last Saturday. Bred to get the trip and Grima sticks. CRITERIA (5) Contributor gelding starting to hit his straps as he stretches out in trip. Tackles a stiffer contest fifth up after he gripped on to secure second over 2400m at Warwick Farm in BM78 grade. Worth thought. SAVVY SPY (3) chasing a hat-trick after he handled the rise in trip and grade with ease, when rounding them up for a comfortable win over this trip at Warwick Farm. NKOSI (4) comes from an in form jockey and trainer combination and stays in the mix.
