MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (4) earns top billing after rebounding to run second at Canberra, beaten just over two lengths, and the quick back-up is a positive part of her set-up. She also owns a solid record at this venue, including a win and three placings from eight starts, so she brings the most rounded profile. SORRY SUNSHINE (6) is the obvious danger after consecutive BM58 wins, the latest at Wagga Riverside where he scored from Tabor with something in hand. His record at this track and distance, plus two wins from two rides with Josh Richards, keeps him right in the race despite the class rise. HUSSY LA VISTA (9) arrives off a Cootamundra Class 1 win as favourite and has been consistent this season, though 2000m is new territory. SPURLINE (8) drops out of Open and BM75 form, and her Canberra third two runs back reads well enough for her to press for a placing if she reproduces it.
