I AM A WINNER (7) looks well placed to turn two narrow seconds this campaign into a win. Meets a few of these better at the weights after going close at Gatton and should be nearing a peak effort third-up. IGOTMYMINDONYOU (4) also has to be taken seriously after putting two on the bounce, most recently beating Scartoon at Toowoomba. Is sure to be very competitive again. SCARTOON (9) is also hard to dismiss with good form around those already mentioned. Can turn the tables with a pull at the weights. BELLE AFFAIR (5) returns for the Murphy camp and brings different formlines, solid ones nevertheless. Is drawn to advantage and should be in this for a long way.

VerdictReturns from a six-month break after ending last preparation with a narrow Mdn win at Gatton as a prohibitive odds-on favourite, despite racing wide. She had earlier run a close third at Toowoomba after covering ground. The early record is tidy, but this asks her to bring that Mdn form into a deeper race. Has upside so is worth keeping onside.- 2. VerdictReturns from a lengthy spell after more than a year off and has at least won a Deagon trial to suggest some readiness. She was last at this track in a BM68 when last seen, beaten seven and a half lengths at long odds, though she had placed at Dalby prior. Proven at 800m, but the long break and plain latest race form temper confidence.- 1. Sea Admiral
