Signed off for Paul Nicholls with 2m4f success at Fontwell in May. Changed hands for £40,000 but raced too freely when a below-form third of 7 in handicap chase at Hexham (20.1f, good) following month and pulled up at this venue in December. Off since.

Veteran whose 5 career wins have come here. Shaped well when second at this course (19f, good) 34 days ago. Yard going well so has to be considered.

Mixed record in Ireland for Shane Crawley but made an encouraging start for this yard when third at Bangor (3m) last month. Failed to build on that in 2 outings since but has received some help from the handicapper.

Stopped the slide in first-time cheekpieces when 1½ lengths second of 5 to Illogical Logic at Hexham (2½m, good) 16 days ago. Now needs to back that up.

Has been revived of late, winning at Cartmel and Hexham on both starts for new yard (by 1½ lengths from Kinbara Firstdraft for latter success). May get a soft lead and isn't taken lightly in hat-trick bid from a 4 lb higher mark.

Left Henry Oliver and made a winning start under Sean Bowen in 7-runner handicap chase at Hexham (3m, good, 10/11) 16 days ago by 3½ lengths from Deadheat. Remains to be seen if he'll be suited by this drop back in trip but it's still early days as a chaser and may well do better.

Got off the mark over hurdles at Cartmel in May. Switched to chasing and made the frame both starts in this sphere at that track. Place claims at best.

In the frame twice from 4 starts since sent chasing but is a free-going sort who has failed to see those races out fully as a result. Folded from the home turn when fifth of 8 in handicap at Cartmel (17f, good, 6/4) when last seen in July. Back up in trip but hard to make a case for at present.
