Useful winner of back-to-back 2m Kempton handicaps prior to a creditable fourth in the Scottish County at Musselburgh last winter. Has sights lowered significantly on return and while capable fresh for previous stable, he did need his reappearance for current yard at Wetherby this time last year.

Chased home fairly useful pair on hurdling debut at Newbury in March. Landed the odds twice at Cartmel this summer prior to being found out under a double penalty at Perth. Sweated that day and interesting that top yard (32% strike rate here in past 5 seasons) now add cheekpieces on handicap bow.

Made giant strides as a handicap hurdler in 2025. Hasn't fired at all this year, though, and hard to be confident he'll capitalise on further respite from the handicapper (now 2 lb below his latest winning mark).

Strong traveller who can promise more than he delivers. Capitalised on a reduced mark in good fashion when landing a second C&D win in March. Should be spot on for this following his return over a longer-than-ideal trip at Kelso (21f) and is expected to give a good account.

Capitalised on a much-reduced mark at Newcastle in March. Made it 2 wins from 3 starts in emphatic style at Hereford on penultimate start last season. In capable hands and has been given a couple of recent spins on the Flat (down the field both times) ahead of this return to hurdles.

Fair winner of handicap chase at this course in February. Solid form in defeat when runner-up in consecutive handicap hurdles at Hexham/Kelso to close out last season. Weighted to go well on the back of a considerate reappearance earlier this month.

Enthusiastic front runner who was successful 3 times over hurdles in 2025. Typically gave it a good go when 1¼-length second of 3 over C&D last month. Perhaps wasn't quite right when pulled up at Southwell earlier this month and at least has better prospects of getting to the lead this time.

Successful over C&D last December before completing a Catterick double off this mark in February. Hasn't fired either start this season (easy enough to back) and connections may have one eye on winter handicaps.

Long way below his fairly useful Flat form over hurdles. Has finished runner-up twice for present yard, latterly posting his best effort when 1¼-length second of 3 in a Kelso novice (2m) following 6-week break. Needs a bit more again from 3 lb out of the weights on handicap hurdle debut.
